Help Screen Timeout not working

I need help with the screen timeout. Yesterday I had it kept at 1 min. And today when I came back it automatically went to 10 seconds. I tried changing it but it showed up as 10 seconds as the only option and also it said it was the maximum time. Please help! It is very annoying!

I have a samsung galaxy S4 Active. Here is what shows up.

Then that's probably the reason. Look in your power saving mode settings and I think you may be able to adjust it there. To be sure, disable power saving mode for a while and see what happens.

Are you using any 3rd party app too to manage your settings..like volume screen brightness, rotation etc??

I mean IF you are using any battery savers (or apps that can change the screen timeout), this could be the problem

Example:

You set your Screen Timeout to 10 seconds in Settings and your app/s like I said above, set your Screen Timeout to 5 seconds, These could make chaos! (Sorry for the misunderstanding )
