Screen timeout shortcut/widget

I used to have a screen timeout widget on my home screen that continued to work after the last update but I can not find that option since factory reseting my phone. I use Nova Launcher and can not find anything within that either. I just want to be able to disable the timeout function occasionally but when I go into the display settings it doesn't even give you the option the disable it anymore. What am I missing here?

That is what factory reset does.
It sets it back to the way you got it from the factory.

Thank you for the reply. I'm aware of the fact that a factory reset clears a phone of any shortcuts/widgets(or anything else for that matter) that a user sets up. What I am inquiring about is why I am not finding a shortcut or widget option for this any longer.

I don't remember seeing that option or widget to turn OFF a screen timeout. I always have my screen set to a 10 minute timeout which allows me more than enough time to do anything I want. The power button of course, will lock it when I'm thru and want to save battery power.

I too, am using Nova Launcher and keep the homescreens locked so that things go away by happenstance.
