screen turn off problem

Hi this is my first post here, I have bought a HTC explorer just few days back and the screen when locked wakes up randomly n stays awake for a minute or so n then goes off. Is any one else having this issue? It's not a big problem but the battery life becomes marginally less. Please help me with it.Thank You

Hello and welcome aboard.

I hope by now you have either figured out or gotten help on how to set the phone time-out to a lesser settings than it currently is.

You'll find this option under settings - display.

no I didn't get any help yet and the timing issue of turning off screen after 30 seconds i have done it it doesn't work it wakes up by itself and then turns off too

The only other options are - reset the device to its factory default settings (this will clear the device of any incompatible or rogue installed application), or take the device to your nearest repair center for repairs or a replacement.
