Help Screen went green

The screen on my note 3 suddenly showed a green hue color. I took some screen shots to show but after I pressed the power button(standby) to turn screen off then back on again the green hue disappeared?

So thinking the pictures would still prove the issue, no I was wrong the screen captures I took with the green hue are also fine . Not sure whats going on...Perhaps it is hardware related hence why it does not show in the captures. Basically all the blacks had a green hue to them / in fact were green .

Today is the 14th day for me to return or exchange the device at t mobile. Please advise. I did install some dark wallpaper apps but deleted them yesterday, was using normal stock wallpapers. I am not rooted.

Do you think it is hardware related? I believe if it was software related then the screen captures ( which I took when screen went green) would also show the green hue.

Search function came up with the following:

I had this once with my Galaxy S2, except the screen got an orange hue. Never saw it again. Looked awesome.

I don't own that handset but if you wanna check that, I would say to download and apply a white wall for a day or so, so that you will have an idea if faintest green hue appears again.

Mine too. Mine is just 3 weeks old. Already had 2 occasions that my screen turned greenish. It's just for a short while. It turned back to original when i attempt to change background brightness.

How do you solve your problem?

I had a single green line running down the left margin of the screen that would occasionally show up.

I was successful at getting a new unit, which seems to be fine.

I'd say this is a very good idea! :)

All three Note 3's in my family are simply terrific.

Oh wow. That happened with mine too. I'm going to exchange mine tomorrow due to other issues too.

Green line across a screen is usually a bad thing especially with computers. This is related to a graphics issue and usually points to the GPU (Graphics Processing Unit).

constant green vertical line across screen, doesn't appear on screenshots..!
red & blue pixels are fine.. except green pixels.. any ways to repair it? :(
i am rooted (warranty void) bcoz my phone is roooooted..!
