Screen Went VERY Dim

I presed something accidentally and the screen in the phone app is incredibly dark with a bright phone icon and the word "phone" underneath. Te same thing happens when selecting contacts, log, etc w the respective icon and word from the phone screen. I'm sure this is a simple setting, but I can't figure it out. Any help is appreciated.
