Help Screen will not lock

[spalten]

I got my wife this phone and she seems to have an issue. When she got the phone the END button would shut down the screen AND lock the phone. Now it only shuts off the screen but does not lock it anymore. I could not find any settings to turn it back on and she has no idea how the change happened.

Any ideas on how to turn the lock back on?

Thanks!!

I was having a similar issues (end button wouldn't shut off or lock screen). I took it back to the Sprint store, where the sales guy reset the phone to factory settings (in the settings menu). Everything was gone (apps, accounts, etc.) but the screen lock works now. He said that was the only way to get it working again. Not the best customer service (he didn't ask before he reset it), but I guess it got the job done.
