Root Screen won't come on?

Okay so I was using my phone like always, I was sending a text to a friend and my phones screen just went off and won't come back on, the phone still recognizes the charger. I looked online and some people say just to let the phone die and then charge it back up, does anyone else have any suggestions? The phone screen won't come on at all and I tried holding power button until it restarted but no luck and an in removable battery makes that option impossible so anyone else have any ideas?

What kind of phone is this pull the battery out. Leave out for 10 minutes and put back

Sounds like the white light of death . how long you had this device

Its the Alcatel one touch fierce, theres an unremovable battery so that's not an option for me. I've had the device a little over 2 weeks, and its rooted so returning isn't an option either

It can be cause in evey place I seen the same problem just remove your SD card and return .:D. It may have been a damaged product from the start . remember it isn't out of store warranty yet .

This is known as the white light of death .

I'll give it a day to try and let it die then recharge it, maybe that could fix it.

EDIT: I let the phone sit for a little while then I plugged it into the charger and it started right back up, all is well for now.

I have one thing that I always do when my screen becomes a nuisance; I don't mess with it or try anything else. There is a possibility that your screen is brocken technically but not physically. that might mean it wont show the backlight and thus you can't see anything.

The problem might also have something to do with your phone and not the screen. It might not be able to intergrate backlighting and only does so when you plug in a charger. My advise is; before doing anything, get the screen tested and the phone checked. Don't mess with it, you might have to buy a new screen when you weren't supposed to.

Thanks to everyone who tried to help, I actually was "help chatting" with a T-Mobile iT guy and he said it happens everyone in a while and to just let it die then charge it and restart it, viola its back on and working now.

If you carefully separate the case and frame, you can easily remove the battery. If you don't feel like waiting for it to drain...

I had the same problem i was using a diffrent charger than the one i got with the phone i changed the charger to the OEM one and screen came back on right away idk if that was the issue but it fixed the ptoblem for me.

well, the only solution to this problem is the drivers issue thing on PC's, as for much, if you do not know this, do NOT reboot your phone while it is connected to the computer because it just glitches out and will not turn on until it is discharged and recharged, as for I had the problem just yesterday, take that as nub advice, oh yeah, I don't know who it was who posted the drivers for PC for this phone to "solve" this, it doesn't work and it will just end in the same way.
