I have a LG G4. I have searched for months for a solution to this problem. None of the fixes work form me.
If I dial or use google now, my screen goes black and won't light up to allow me to hang up or insert options.
The only time the screen behaves the way it should is when I call my voicemail from the swipedown alerts. This leads me to believe that it's not a sensor issue.
I've tried a factory reset, didn't work.
I've tried the 'power button ends call' doesn't work.
I don't want to disable the blackout if I don't have to because I am a notorious 'face dialer'.
The only thing I can do us pull the battery to end the call.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
