Newbie
I make tutorials and gameplays on my kyocera rise with the app screencast but sometimes i get lag. I wish i could record huge game and other things without any problems with lagging. is it a way to stop this i really want to make a gameplay of me playing dead trigger but im pretty sure while im recording its going to lag bad. Btw my YouTube is kyocerarisetuturials

You will need to root your device and increase the delvik cache sizes. You will have to play around with the delvik cache settings in order to reduce your lag. Warning a low delvik or incorrect amount will cause a bootloop.

Download the app Rom Toolbox and install it.
Once it is installed, open it and locate the section called "build.prop editor".
Open build.prop editor and make the following changes...
If the following changes are not part of the editor you will need to add them.
dalvik.vm.heapgrowthlimit 40m
dalvik.vm.heapsize 36m
dalvik.vm.heapsize 128
dalvik.vm.heapstartsize 5m
windowsmgr.max_events_per_sec 100
Then reboot...
Start with those changes. Test them out. If problem persists we can add additional changes.
