Root Screencast

do you have sdk installed with your platform
and added platform-tools to your path?
install java?

open cmd.exe and type "adb devices"
screen cast no work if nothing is listed

also Android Commander and I think it's called Droid Explorer set all that up for you plus have built in file/apk managers and simple adb commands like adb push and adb pull with click of one button. way better than just showing same thing as your screen. I remember I liked one better than other but I forget which.

both those programs let you connect wirelessly to if you on same wifi network.
remote Web desktop handy too but some features only work on paid. idk what features free haven't used in long time

is java.exe in path with where ever your adb files are? with no spaces in path names?

and what is output of "adb devices" in command prompt

I know you connected if you can click around just trying to cover all bases. no computer here to check but I'm pretty sure prevail work with it

By the way if anyone else have trouble... u need Java 6 not Java 7. I had to use other day and no go till I boot 7 and install 6
