Help Screens burned with a BOX

when I charge my phone all night, theres a little box thats there telling me to unplug the phone after its fully charged, I dont unplug it until the morning.

Now while waiting for a web page to load, i can see the little white box has burned my screen.

I have noticed that problem too.

Also, I have had to stop using the Samsung desktop charger with the phone on because of screen burn in of the images. And this was after only a couple of days of use.

I'm using the wall charger/usb adapter that came with mine. It automatically "drip" charges at night, it doesn't keep charging past full.

Been doing this nightly since I bought the phone when it was released in October. No burn in.

Thats the same charger I use, but the little box telling me to unplug the charger is now burned onto my screen. I don't notice it unless I have a white screen when im waiting for a web page to load.

I'm not sure what to tell you. Maybe take it back to the store and ask them what is up.

I've never had mine charge overnight and give me the "full" warning.

When I charge it at work on a standard USB cable or wall charger I have from a Blackberry, it will give me that warning and I disconnect it then.

Do you have your phone settings set up to have the screen on full time if its plugged into the charger? If so, that might be one reason.

my moms phone has that problem. for some reason hers was set out of the box for the screen to stay on while charging. me and my stepdad just picked this phone up a few days ago and his was set the same as hers, where mine didnt come with the box checked. weird. she tried to get it replaced but apparently us cellular won't warranty a phone out in store, she'd have to send it in and hope they dont charge her for a new one or to fix it. i think thats some crap, every other carrier i've had will warranty it out in store or just by calling them.

When I plug the charger to the phone the screen comes on, but I press the button on the side and turn the screen off, when its fully charged the screen comes on.

Go to settings-applications-development-stay awake while charging make sure that box is unchecked, its what's causing the problem. I tested my phone as soon as I for it to make sure the screen didn't stay on when it was fully charged. For some reason some of the phones come out of the box with that checked
