Help Screenshots disappear

[Android Question kenny]

I sent my friend screen shots by text with my droid ultra. Couple days later those texts disappeared on my conversations. Not the rest of texts. Just screenshots. Could my friend have erased them from my phone using hers?

Highly unlikely. Were these screen shots taken from within your Messaging app? If so they may have been cached.

Yes. I took a screeshot of another text convo. Only the screenshots disappeared

If you look in your file system for a directory named after your messaging app. Probably in /storage/emulated/0/android/data/com.messaging app name you might just find them. Unless you have done a recent cache wipe.
