SD Card and requiring restart

Hi,

My S20 keeps telling me my SD card was not properly removed/installed. The SD card has been in the phone for a year and not touched. Has anyone else seen this and found a cure?

I have on my S10e. I shut my phone off and pulled the tray out. Appears that either the card came out of the cradle slightly or I didn't get it completely in correctly when I took it out. Repositioned it like it should and have not had the issue since.

Yeh, check it's correctly positioned in the holder, but it might be an indication that the SD is failing and needs to be replaced.

Was the SD new with the S20, or had you been using it previously in another device?

what sd card are you using? how old is it? can you hook it up to your computer and gain access to it thru the pc?

it could be that the card is starting to show wear and tear. sd cards have a finite number of read and write cycles......so make sure you can backup the sd card.

Thanks guys. SD card was used in my S8. I guess it is time for a new card. Fortunately I just backed the card up to my PC.
