I purchased a superpad 3 that supposedly needed repair to play with. Found out it was a Disco version and it booted fine. It was just a little sluggish without using the stylus.
1st thing I did was open it and replaced the card with an empty card and flashed tim6a rom. Reflashed with funnycomb. Both worked fine but with some issues identified on this and other boards.
I also cloned the original card using Hdd Raw copy tool . I loaded the clone onto a new card and then inserted it in the tablet and the tablet booted normally. (I used the same capacity card, so I don't know if a larger card would give you the additional space without enlarging the partition some how.
While I was playing with it, I noticed the charge light was flickering.
The solder joint on the back of the charge port was cracked. Using a well heated small tip soldring iron, I melted the solder and the charge circuit was complete again.
