I was trying to use my phone while walking and accidentally pressed the wrong thing on my main screen (can't remember what it was exactly as I wasn't paying too much attention but noticed it was trying to access the internet, maybe weather) so I quickly cancelled it and it then rebooted by itself. After the reboot I got a notification that my SD was damaged 
So I had no choice but to format the card which is now working. Anyways any idea why my card got corrupted or damaged? I'm kind of wary of putting any important data on my phone sd card now.
