Help SD Card issues, take two

I had to get an ew phone because for some reason, the old one died. The Sim card and battery and storage card were transferred. But it's acting like the SD card isn't there. I found a diagram and it's obviously there, but keeps saying 'please insert an SD card'.

I had this exact same issue. Your SD card is probably fried (thats what happened to mine). The Tmobile tech put it in and when I got home I started actually looking at my phone and it kept saying "please insert a sd card". So basically you will have to get a new SD...They tried making me pay for a new card and I threw a fit and told them thats BS because I didnt put the SD card in and have it fry, the Tmobile technician put it in....I threw a fit till they gave me a free card because I wasnt going to pay for something that I didnt break.

Oh and by the way, when your SD card gets fried, you will lose all your pictures and music.I had hundreds of photos,and hundreds of songs on mine...Lost it all

It wasn't a case of fried SD, it turns out...it was user error. We forgot to move the things into the new phones yesterday.
