SD Card (Misc.)

[Android Question]

My phone is a ALCATEL ONE TOUCH (TMOBILE). I recently received a new phone and put my SD Card in the slot. Now its saying I have no space on my SD Card at all. It's not my pictures, music, or apps that's taking up so much space. It's something called misc. and the phone does not allow me to see what it is. Can someone please help ? What does misc. mean for SD Card ?

Normally nothing. Put the card (the card itself, in an adapter, not mounted in the phone) into your computer and look in the misc folder. If you don't recognize anything, rename it to something like mis. Linux is very literal, if it needs a folder named misc, mis won't do it.

Put the card back into the camera and see if you have any problems. I'm betting that you don't.

Then put the card back in the computer and delete that folder.

If it's stuff you recognize, you may want to save some of it.
