Help "sd card mounted read only"

I suddenly started receiving the above error message today. Does anyone know what the problem is?

sorry thats new to me on that one, have you tried another micro SD card to see if its picked up? and i know i know....but has the phone been powered off/reboote yet as a random thought?

I've tried rebooting the phone. The message in the notification bar at the top of the screen has gone but the errors remain.

When I open the camera I receive the following message: "Unable to save to SD card due to insufficient file permissions"

When I try to open photos or videos whilst in the camera, I receive this message "An error was encountered on your SD card" and I cannot view any files.

The pictures associated with my my website bookmarks have all been replaced with question marks.

Bizarely though music plays fine. However, when I try to delete tracks, I get the message saying that the file has been deleted only for the file to reappear!

Strange.

Connect to your PC, then mount as a USB Drive, can you transfer files etc.

If you can, copy over the files you want to keep then format the card. I don't know if it will work, but it's a shot in the dark.
