Help SD card not found & download problems

Hi there,

I have an HTC Salsa which came with a 2gb sd card, since I got the phone a error popped up saying the sd card was unexpectedly removed and to insert an sd card to take pictures which I cannot do at all. I cannot download any apps as it says it cannot be downloaded to the default location. I've put in a 8gb sd card and it still pops up with the same errors.

Even when you check the sd card & phone storage it states the sd card is unavailable even though it's in the phone.

Please can someone tell me how to fix this problem. Thx
 
That sounds like a problem with the SD slot. I think your best option is probably to send the phone for repair - hopefully it's still under warranty.
 
Well the phone is still under warranty with HTC, I only got it little over a month ago. However they are not responding to my emails & I can't get through to them. However the place I bought it from totally fobbed me off cos it was 4 days over their returns policy of 28 days. So I'll get onto HTC again. Thx
