I'm back in the droid world and love it, that being said, I'm curious to know what you folks put it. size and manufacturer as well as why you chose it.

there are obviously countless options. What are your interests? speed? size? both?

Whats the typical use of the space? photos? videos? games? work files? etc

personally i have a basic Sandisk 32gb, no idea of the speed but its all i need. I take photos and videos, they are later upped to dropbox automatically and i delete the card frequently.

Personally, I stick to SanDisk, and never buy from eBay, or 3rd party vendors on places like Amazon. Very recently a friend got an S5, and lost all the phone photos he took on a trip to Scotland, as the card was a fake.

I got myself an SD card from eBay (almost everything I get online is from eBay) for the S5, it was supposed to be a Samsung 32gb class 10. Got to my house, tried it, and pictures weren't loading. I would put songs in the card, and it would not show up. Thankfully I transferred everything from the sd card to my PC. So I messaged the guy told him what happened, and he said he was going to send me a new one, and this one "should work", almost like he knew that the 1st one he send was fake. The one he replaced it with, now works fine, and no complaints. Just have to be careful. Back everything up if you can.

I have used the San Disk 64 GB class 10 and a couple of Samsung 64 GB class 10 (the latest being the PRO SDXC just installed on my S5.) The San Disk seemed to work for a while but eventually got flaky. It would dismount and then remount all by itself on my S4. I had to reboot to get everything working right again. Very annoying!

After some research I bit the bullet and spent the $$ for the Samsung unit. It was money well spent. Have not seen any flaky behavior from the Samsung SDHC or SDXC cards

I have used about 1/2 of the 64 GB card and will likely go to 128 GB next time. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

Had lots of problems in my former Samsung SG3 using a variety of SD cards -- until I switched to a Samsung card. Problems stopped.

Now have an SG5, still using the Samsung card, still NOT having any problems.
