Root SD Card partioning

So I partitioned my SD Card through CWM with a size 0f 4096. I gave it that size because I install many apps. No my question is where did that 4096 mb go? Maybe I am bit naive here, but this is the first time I ever partitioned my sd card so I went with the maximum figure. It says now that I have a total of 25-26 gigs on my sd card instead of 29-30. Where is the rest of the space? Any comments/thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

It is a linux partition and can't be seen in windows. If the space is gone then the partition is there, you will notice that a factory reset will take a bit longer as it has to wipe the partition on the SD card. If you want to see it then you can use a Linux based operating system or download DiskInternals Linux reader for free. Hope this helps.
