Sd card problems urgent please help!! :d

Hello,

I bought a phone roughly a month ago with a 2gb micro sd card, today i went out and bought an 8gb micro sd card as my phone has expandable memory up to 8gb. I have two questions. One how do i get the apps off the 2gb card to the third one and two, how come when i put in the 8gb card and try to download apps from the google play store, that it says the phone is full even though i already changed the destination to the sd card?

ASAP HELP would be much appreciated,

Hello Kermit16. Welcome to Android Forums. The easiest way to move files between two SD cards without a card reader would be to connect your phone to you PC while in file or mass storage mode. Move the files to the PC. Then put the new card in your phone and move them back. Be advised that you will likely need to reinstall your apps. They rarely migrate well. Also be advised that many apps will not install to your SD card. They are written where they need to reside in the extended memory of the phone.
