Help Sd card query

Always had 32gb sd card now got 64gb better make.
When I transfer videos internally it does it immediately no matter how large yet when I transfer to sd card it either transfers rearly slowly 5 mins or it transfers and the video won't play from the sd card

Tried to formatt but doesn't help

Does the whatever it is phone or tablet you've got there support 64GB SD card storage? Many older or cheapo phones and tablets do not, they're 32GB maximum. Or another very real possibility is that the 64GB SD card is a counterfeit. Where did you buy it? Suggest you check it with SD Insight.

I put the old 32gb in and that was really slow to transfer to sd card as well. why is this Samsung evo plus meant to be the best?

When I transfer vids via USB to sd it's lightening fast. . surely this phone faster than my 10 year old pc?

Also when I click on new file in gallery on the s7 to transfer files to new sd file it says its done but can never see the file

S7 Edge should be fine. But from what you're describing the 64GB SD card sounds very much like a fake.

Install SD Insight and report back what it states for the new 64GB card.

It was only £11.99 when normally 16.99+ but asked if genuine and said yes beforehand

I edited my previous post, install SD Insight, that should tell you if it's a legit manufacturer and capacity.

Is invalid the same as fake?

A big "INVALID", that's almost certainly a counterfeit. You should see the actual manufacturer, like Samsung, SanDisk, Sony, etc.

Never heard of Dynac, but it's recognized by SD Insight as a legit manufacturer. So could be owned by Samsung or contract OEM.

For information the 128GB SD in my phone says "Phison" as manufacturer, but it was labelled and packed as SanDisk. And it does work perfectly.

In SD Cards rejects from manufacturers often find their way to the grey market.

So the SD card appears to the issue.

I would suggest you try with another SD card or try the 'slow' SD card on another phone.
