Help SD Card Question

Can anyone confirm if a UHS-1 enabled sd card will work in the prevail.

I just bought one myself and have been assured you can. that number is the data transfer rate and "1" is actually the fastest. a bit of overkill i think for a prevail. that kind of transfer speed is more for 3dhd cameras. this is my first post as i am here to find out if i can partition my new card for greater internal storage without rooting.

I am pretty sure you need to be rooted in order to get more space because I believe you need su in order to mount partitions but I may be mistaken.

And on a side note the 1 is actually the slowest of that class as UHS is different than regular speed class cards. The UHS is actually new speed classes and is not supposed to be backwards compatible is the reason I was asking but as long as it works I will be happy.
