Help SD card removed notification

So... at least a few times a day my phone notifies me that my SD card is unmounted and for me to put in a new one. anyone know why this keeps happening?

It could be that your SD card is dying mate.

My advice would be to connect your phone to your PC and make a backup of the entire contents of your SD card. Once done, format the card and then transfer the backup you made back to the card. See if that helps. If you still have the same issue after doing that, then perhaps it's time to get a new SD card.
 
Also gently clean the gold strips on your card as this is where actual stored data is read from.Anything hendering formentioned dust,dirt,and or etc problems will ensue
