Help SD card says mounted (read only)

I just bought my HTC evo 4g acouple of days ago and everything was fine, well i couldnt find my charger and the phone died. when i finally charged the phone a notification came up and said sd card mounted read only, its only a 2 gig...please help!!!

Welcome to the forums first off!!!

Awesome choice for your phone secondly!!

The evo really has a hard time with 2gig SD cards, its been seen over and over.

My suggestion is to try a 4gig or higher, should clear up your issues.

Also if you need to get the info off of the SD card, you'll need to pull the SD card and use an external card reader to pull the info off of it. They are pretty cheap and can be found just about anywhere. WalMart has em, heck I've seen em at gas stations a few times.
