Help SD card/screen shot issue

I have a HTC Desire C and am encountering an error message whenever I try to take a screen shot (by pressing the power button and home screen button simultaneously). I receive an error message saying 'an error was encountered with your SD card', but I do not have an SD card. Also, my camera settings show that storage is set to phone storage. I have tried resetting my camera to factory settings, and then I get a message saying 'your storage card is full or unavailable, storage has been switched to phone storage' but the same problem persist.

Could anyone advise on what I should I do to rectify this? Thanks.

I would first try performing a hard battery reboot, by removing the battery reinserting it then restarting the device.

Try this and get back to me, i hope it helps :)

Hi Lindseyscott
Looking at your statement i can assume you do not have a SD card present in the phone.. if this is correct then what you are getting is also right
1. if no sd card then the internal memeory set aside for is used for a limited number of camera shots.
2. when taking a screen shot it would try to place this in the gallery set aside for pictures normally on the SD card
3. the message 'your storage card is full or unavailable' would also be correct you have no card therfore unavailable is the option...

I think if you insert a micro SD card the problem will no longer exist.

Also the phone carrys only a small amount of memory for pictures and music most of the 1gb is used for apps..

hope this of help
