Help SD Card slot problem

Hi all, I got my new Galaxy Ace this morning and it's brilliant so far, but there seems to be an issue with my SD Card, possibly a slot issue I'm not sure, but my SD card doesn't lock into the slot? It gets to a certain point and can't go any further; I can push it down further but there's no catch where the card can be kept in place, so I have to force the SD slot door thing down for a few seconds for the card to stay in place, but any minor touch on the door cause the door to open slightly and the card pops out again. Is this normal for the slot, or am I doing something wrong? Thank you!

Either you are doing something wrong or theres a problem with the slot.
The card isn't supposed to be forced into the slot, there's a spring loaded catch inside, u need to push the card in then the spring will go down and then bounce back up slightly keeping your card locked inside. Just like a button.

For the last push you need to use your nail or something small, so that the SD card won't pop up. That's also the way to remove it again, push it down with your nail a little bit and the card will pop out far enough to remove it.

Got it! Thank you the two above, I was using my nail earlier and it just wouldn't go down, but I just used my house key and it worked exactly as you said, thank you!
