SD card storage

[Android Question]

My phone says "insufficient space" when i try to download large apps but when i go to settings-manage apps it shows me as having plenty of space on my SD card. i've already tried changing 'preferred install location to SD card but still nothing if the app is a certain size. :????

Downloading is to internal storage, so you need enough internal space to download the app package, regardless of where you're going to install it.
