Has anyone else had problems with SD card unexpectedly removed??
I had these problems, they were intermittent. I am still testing to make sure that my fix works, but so far so good. Here is how it works:
First, you need a decent SD card. I got some stupid junk off ebay. You need an 8GB, Class 4 card. You can get one for 20 bucks at a decent electronics store, it is worth the money.
Next, back up your old SD and then remove it from your phone and reboot the phone.
Then, Take your new SD card and put it in your computer; do not put it in your phone yet. Right click on the card, and select "format".
Once the format menu comes up, uncheck the quick format button and leave the other settings alone. It will take 20 or 30 minutes to format, but it is worth it.
Finally, move your info that you backed up onto your new SD and pop it into your phone. Wait for all the crap to refresh and--hopefully--you're done having unexpected problems with your SD card.
