Help sd card wont mount!

My phone is about a week old. Suddenly it tells me I need to mount my sd card. I've done apps, taking it out putting it back in. Extremely frustrated!

Connect the card to a computer (you many need a card reader if your computer has no SD slot). Run h2testw on it. If the program can't find the card, the card is probably shot. If it can, let it run its tests.

I'm suspecting that the card is shot. I'm also suspecting that if it only lasted a week it's a counterfeit card.
