I have a Samsung Galaxy grand prime, I installed a 32gb SD CARD I downloaded some playlist's that I created from YouTube how do I gain access to them.

Unsure what you mean you "downloaded some playlists created from YouTube".

If you have videos or music on your SD card you will be able to view them through music/video players, depending on format etc. Without more information and explaining what you want it is tough to help.

Hi! How are you. I have Samsung galaxy s9 plus. And I transfered all of my files I had on an 128 gig sd card that I had in my s7 edge to a new 256 gig sd card I put in my new s9 plus. I did that like 2 weeks ago. No problems at all. And then like a week ago I switched phone carriers from cricket to metro pcs for the free Amazon prime metro pcs offers with their $60 plan. And now I been using Amazon prime video app on my s9 plus. And I did download 1 series to my 256 gig sd card. And now yesterday I was going to watch a video I had on my 128 sd card for like a year. Which I transfered as part of the data I transfered to the 256 gig sd card a couple weeks ago. And yesterday I was going to watch that video. And it didn't show. And then I looked and all of my data that was on the sd card was gone, is gone!!!! I did all of the normal steps to find the data. So I just said heck with it and reformatted the sd card. And also my phone was and is recognizing the sd card. It's just that all of the data was gone from it. Does anyone know how and why this happened? Now I came across (one) post a couple of weeks ago saying that Amazon has been known for deleting from an SD card all media that is not their own. But it said it was the Amazon prime (music) that does that. Not the prime video. And the post said that it happened on a Amazon fire tablet. And it was the only post I found anywhere online concerning the issue. And well as I said I have a Samsung galaxy s9 plus. So anyway this is my story of my issue. And I'm pretty upset upset about it because I had 132 gigs of data on my sd card. So does anyone here know why this could have happened to my sd card? And how I can prevent it from happening again? Please let me know! I do not want this to happen again!!! I'm pretty upset about this!!!! Thank you!

wow that sucks. for me anytime i do anything with my sd card, i always make sure to back things up. i have a copy of my card on my laptop, pc, external hard drive, and i have also a copy on a flash drive. i never trust sd cards these days. i had a few go corrupt and lost all my data on it.

curious what sd card do you have?

I agree with ocnbrze. Redundancy is key to any storage. Be it another local drive or cloud, another copy is great insurance. I'm very sorry that you lost your collection. I have no guess as to the culprit. I do urge you to make multiple copies of anything you deem precious moving forward.

Thanks for your reply. And well my issue is that I have no pc. And concerning clouds. Clouds get hacked. Shoot yahoo was hacked a couple of years ago. Maybe I'll just get a second sd card as a backup? But I still want to find a probable reason why it happened?

You could get a micro sd to USB and hook a flash drive to your phone.......just a thought.

I doubt that Amazon would intentionally do something like that. It's most likely an sd card issue.... though PNY is a decent brand.

Like I said though I just don't trust sd cards these days to permanently store my data.
