SD Card

I am new to this site and also new to the Samsung Galaxy S2.

I have backed up my calender from my old phone onto my SD card, but how do i restore it onto the Samsung Galaxy S2? I have plugged it in via USB and its there, but i just cannot get it onto the phone. My old phone has now died so i cannot do anything with that.

Please help as i don't fancy putting all the entries in again manually.

The stock Calendar on android does not have an import function while it does for the Contacts list (menu, import/export). So you better importing your calendar entries into another desktop application like Google, Kies or Outlook (which is what I use) then Syncing to the SGS2. Hard to give detailed instructions until you choose which path first of all.
