I just bought a Pangital Novel and can not download anything without a SD card. Why is this and what gig is good to get??

I am not sure why you can't download stuff, but would hazard a guess that the device doesn't have any internal memory to store stuff on. As for what size SD card to get, I'd say go for the biggest you can afford... SD card's aren't overly expensive any more, so you should be able to find one that suits your needs!
