SD cart in android 6.0.1

I have a 20 GB SDcdrt in my motoroola mot g third gen. But I dont know how to set the phone to use it.? Any tips are welcome

go into phone settings>storage>sd card>format as portable storage.

or you can have your computer format the card via a card reader and format to fat32

20 GB? I have never heard of a card with that amount of storage. What brand is the card; and have you checked it to make sure it is a legitimate card? As far as your phone's use of it: all you have to do is power off the phone and get the card in the microSD slot (which, I believe, is a single slot shared with the SIM card). Boot the phone back up and any file explorer (I use Solid Explorer) will be able to access files in both internal and external memory (the card). Set the camera to save photos to the card
