SD doesn't work

How can you make your Android SD card work after you formatted it? I have a verison illusion phone. I put the sd card into my other phone and was deleting folders that had nothing in them. Then, i put the sd card back into my verison illusion phone and it said it was damaged. How can i fix my sd card?

It sounds as if you removed the card without unmounting it. Reboot to Recovery and format the SD card. (Or mount it on a computer [using an adapter if the computer doesn't have an SD slot] and format it to FAT32 in the computer.)

If it's not electrically damaged, either one will work. If it is, you need a new card.
