Help SD HD problem

Hello!
Have problem to read my new 8GB SD HC memory on galaxy ace.
Phone said:"no memorycard"
Any solutions?

try formatting mem card and reusing...

The memorycard will not show up in the PC.so i can`t format it.

it will show up in pc try to use different memory card reader. i think ur card is damaged try it in another mobile also.
