SD Help.??

This is very dependent upon the sizes of the Pictures and Music you have.

I am trying to approach this from a very netural manner shall we say? I need to add some memory for four people So I was just wondering as a very average user to gage what I need to buy?

Do you know the resolution of the pictures they're storing? What bit-rate the MP3s are and how long each song lasts? I use 320kbps, which is the highest possible for MP3. Think the average length for most pop songs is 3-4 minutes. Once you know those you can probably guess it with reasonable accuracy.

With memory as cheap as it is you should be able to find a good deal on 8-16gb micro cards and that should provide most users with plenty of space to hold but to put it in perspective I have over 7800 songs on my HDD and that's 31GB. Most of the bit rates are at least 320.

As for images it's going to depend on the the native camera in the phone. More mexapixels = bigger file sizes. So you can take a picture at the best setting and take a look at the details of the image to find out how big it is and calculate from there.
