Help SD Management

Hello,

I have a few questions regarding SD card management on a Galaxy S3.
How do I specify where to store my photos (SD and internal)
How do I view exactly what is stored on the SD and what's on the internal storage?
Is there a good app for SD management or just use the built in management?
I see some threads about storing all apps on the SD card instead of the internal storage. Whats the reason?

Open camera app, settings and scroll to 2nd from bottom, storage (I think it only shows once you have a card installed).
