sd performance

I know we already have a thread for SD cards, but I wanted a sperate one to show case performance. Anyone care to share screenies?
I once went higher than 4096 and write speeds were just ridiculous. But raising the cache will negatively impact the phones performance wouldn't it?

In my experience, raising the cache increases both read and write speeds. This is especially true if you have a Class 10 SD card. I doubt that it would bring negative effects to performance. If anything, it will decrease boot up time and loading (especially if you have some apps on the sd card).

back when I tested my sd on higher cache rates it would drastically slow down my start up. maybe it was something I did wrong. I'll try it again sometime soon.
