please why isnt my sd card reading on.my xperia arc s but a notification pops up after a while sayin"you can safely remove card"but i cant mount it back!

Maybe a loose connection between the sd and phone. Can you check it's fully seated where it should be? Maybe even take it out and give it a good clean with alcohol or something?

i cleaned it with alcohol already..did a hard reset of the phone but nothing...do you thinks its a software problem?

Wow just realised you have an Arc S.. One of my favourite phones (mine got stolen).
Have you factory reset it since getting a software update?
(is that what you meant by hard reset?)
If so I'd maybe try a different card but at the same time it's an old phone so maybe a hardware fault :(

the factory reset i did was from the phones setting..

No, go to Settings, about phone, software update and check there but I have a feeling I had to use some Sony software on a PC to get my update. Can't remember anything else about that sorry except that the phone ran a lot better on ICS :thumbsupdroid:

i mean manual update from the phone itself..please what phone are you usimg ?
Apologies, I misunderstood this to be an SD card access problem.

I have several phones, right now I'm answering here on my HTC One M8. I don't have your phone. I do have a phone running Gingerbread also.
