Sd Problems

Last weekend my android broke on me, since this problem is coverered in the warranty, I got a loner phone to use while mine gets fixed, an HTC Incredible S. Today, I unmounted my Sd card, the right way, and transferred it to the new phone, which is an android as well, however, the new phone just tells me that it is damaged and unreadable. I also tried to format the Sd card so i can atleast download and listen to music and stuff, but the phone wont even do this.... Any suggestions?

your broken phone nuked the SD card.
If your lucky you can just reformat it in a PC and start over like already said.
[format tools for PC are better at times at fixing things]
