Help SD songs not listed ?

Hello , I recently got an Galaxy S2 with Android 4.0.3 , and I got an issue..
When I connect it to PC via USB and transfer data , then disconnect it , the music application doesn't list any song from the SD card .I have unmounted the SD and re mounted and after a bit the songs were listed back , but my playlists were empty...
What is the problem ?

Make sure you transferring to a folder named "Music" , this could also be due to not disconnecting properly from the PC make sure you stop USB mass storage or eject from windows rather than just removing the cable.

Have you tried a reboot of your phone as well ?
