Sd to sd

I'm pretty sure I already asked about this a couple years ago, give or take. Well, I'm asking about it again. I know there's a gizmo that can transfer from one sd card to another without a computer. What I don't know is what it's called, how much it costs, and how to get it. Does it require a second phone? I hope it can be used with just one, the Moto G. I could probably afford up to thirty or forty dollars for it. How would I hook it up and does it need an outlet, or would just the phone be enough?

I couldn't find OTG. I assume that's on the go. Wouldn't it be listed under storage and memory? This says storage only and shows internal and sd.

I'm planning on getting a 512 gb, the most the Moto G could handle. I also want to get a device to transfer sd to sd. Unfortunately, those links posted did not work. Do I need anything else besides that device, the Moto G, and the 2 sd cards?

NitroShare sounds good, but wouldn't I need two devices? I could probably get hold of the TCL, but if it doesn't charge, I think it would be useless. Most likely I'll have to get something that doesn't require more than itself, the Moto G, and the two sd cards.

I think that device in AMOCO's post is the right one, from AOMEI. The price is pretty reasonable, $7. How do I get it?

The card reader isn't made by AOMEI, but you can get them from Amazon or locally at Best Buy, Walmart, etc.

Depending on what version of the Moto G you own it will have either a USB-C (newer) or Micro-USB (older) port. You should buy a card reader with the same port as your phone to easily connect them.

Ok, I have the Vanja sd to sd device and a brand new 512 gb sd card from Sandisk. I plugged the new card into the small slot on the left, the red light is on, and the Vanja has been recognized. What do I do now? Do I have the new card in the right slot? Should it be in the adapter in the other, bigger slot? Do I somehow need a special cable for this? There wasn't any included. As far as I know the new card has not been specifically recognized yet, and I still don't see any otg. Should I allow google files access to the data?

I wanted to put this in the same post as that image, but I couldn't figure out how. I put the new 512 gb sd card in the adapter and put that in the Vanja's other, bigger slot. Then I plugged it into the phone's charger slot. I thought I was copying to the new sd card, but apparently it was copying to the old (128 gb) sd card and ran out of room. Then it asked if I wanted to format it. I think it meant the new card. Then I got this corruption message. Ok, what do I do?

There's a bunch of stuff under Android and then data. Should I format anyway and try to put those items back later? I don't know where they're from and how they got on the new 512 gb. For now I guess I'll just eject and plug up the phone because it needs a charge.

Now the Vanja has stopped working. When I pkug it in it usually shows the red light and the Moto G acknowledges it. This time that didn't happen. I took it out and reinserted it more than once. It looks all right but something must be wrong.

If the Vanja doesn't work, should I take out the original sd card and swap in the new one? I guess I could copy the rest later, preferably with a computer. Is there any way to fix the Vanja?
