[SDCard] Configure default installation directory

Hello Friends,

I have HTC Desire S. I want to configure particular folder in the SD card as default application installation directory (let say: /sdcard/program_files/) instead of (/sdcard).

I have tried doing ...

>> adb shell pm setInstallLocation 2

That only help to make future installation to go in SD card but by default only under /sdcard/

The issue is that when I want to explore my SD card, folder organization looks very fuzzy because of plenty of folders created by different applications.

Please, somebody instruct a way to direct installation to go under particular directory folder.

You might want to try asking this over at xdadevelopers. There will certainly be somebody there who will know whether or not what you want to do is possible and, if so, tell you how.
