I need it for root and what not right?

I really don't understand the instructions. Do they mean to extract the folder to C:\Windows\sdk-tools? Do I need 64-bit Fedora? I don't even know what that is.Try the attachment in this post
EDIT: This too: http://androidforums.com/nexus-5-all-things-root/790362-nexus-5-rooting-guide.html
And I'm gonna move this over to the N5 All Things Root section

I used the guide and it went through the rooting process but didn't actually root, superSU was not there. Got these driver errors.Well you need to follow the steps in the guide that is built in to wuggs tool kit.

No, never used that before.Did you try the driver installation guide built into Wugs?
No, never used that before.

I'll try that but I really would like to know why SDK manager won't launch, it would before. You need to follow that guide as it will assist you in correcting the drivers before root.

Edit: also run it as administrator
