Help SDK setup error

I keep trying to install the sdk drivers. I download the zip file, then unzip it to a file on my desktop, but when I hit setup I keep getting this error:

Failed to fetch URL https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/repository.xml, reason: HTTPS SSL error. You might want to force download through HTTP in the settings.

Any suggestions? I think this might be my issue trying to get the new animated startup working.

I am using a dell laptop with Vista.

LOL, thanks. I found it in all places........youtube lol. video tutorial worked awesome. I would have never figured that out.
