Help Search engine results

[tomhill_007]

Hi there,

I have an iPad and a Nexus 5; when I "Google" something on my iPad, such as "Android Forum", this search will also appear in the history of my Nexus 5.

Now this maybe me being picky, however how do I stop this from happening?

Kind regards.

Don't be logged into Google on one of them. It's being logged in that links the searches between devices.

Hi Rakbat,

Thanks for your reply.
I assumed this would be the case, however I cannot see where on my iPad I am signed into my Google account. The only thing I have signed my Google account into is for contacts and calendar.

Have you used a Google login on the iPad's browser for anything? If you don't sign out (which Google don't want you to by default) then that's probably it.

Very hard not to be logged in on Android, so the only solution from that side is to use a different search engine.

The google ad states "One account, all devices" or something. Just log out.

Thank you very much Hadron, this appears to have sorted it!

Or just routinely log out. One of those two.
