Why can't I use the search function from my phone or galaxy tab? When I click on it the keyboard opens and closes.

It happens to me too when using the "search this forum" function. I can't click on "advanced search" either. If I click the field to input data, keyboard opens and closes. If I click "advanced search", the field closes and I actually click whatever is under the link.
I've tried the stock browser and Dolphin Browser HD. It happens whether the browser identifies as desktop, android, BB, whatever.... It's really annoying.

This could be an issue which the site admin would like to have a look at, being as how it is being reported from more than one device, so I've moved your question to the Suggestion Box and Feedback forum for you.

It's huge.
Some of the stuff I can do, some of it I have to get Rob to do, and some of it we have to add to our developer's list. Some of it is stuff that requires research, some requires permission, some requires nagging.
Ahhh.. the plight of Middle Management.
