Search subject/conversation in email

Hi,

I'm thinking of migrating from Blackberry to Android and the GS2 is the contender on the Droid side.

The one thing stopping me making the switch is I can't find an Android email client I can live with. Because of the volume of email and the sheer number of threads, I can't use a threaded view. As I only read about 1/3 of my emails most threads show as having unread messages in them and I can't mark things read that haven't been in case I need to go back.

I need to keep my email in date order (newest at the top) then, if I see something I'm interested in, touch it and there be some option to see the whole conversation/thread.

I can't find any Android email client that does this though the guy at my carrier that's trying to get me to take the upgrade swears his does. Does the GS2 email client have something like this or can you recommend one that does please?

Thanks,
Paul.

The standard email client that comes with the SGS2 allows you to search for the sender or the title of the email you'd like to look up. It also allows you to show only the emails from the past day, but also from the past month.

I don't think you can show entire conversations (multiple emails) in 1 screenfile though, it's fairly basic.
